Before college, before a crew, there was just Jake and Reid.
Pane in the Glass started before either of them had a college acceptance letter. Just a squeegee, a genuine belief that the work mattered, and enough determination to knock on the next door after every no.
That was the foundation. What’s grown on top of it is a real business: a trained crew, a route across Chicago, and a reputation built job by job. We use the right tool on every pane and hand-detail every sill, not because it’s in a checklist, but because cutting corners was never how this started.
We still take every job personally because reputation matters, and your view even more.

Exterior cleanings, solar panels, and screens. We built the list around what residential homes and commercial buildings actually need, because a short list done right beats a long one done halfway.

Screen Cleaning
Pulled, washed, dried, re-installed. The screens you forgot were dirty are now the cleanest part of the house.
Add-on with any window service, or schedule on its own.

Solar Panel Cleaning
Dust, pollen, and bird leavings cost you watts. Same purified-water pole we use on windows lifts grime off the panels without a streak or scratch.
Soft brushes, deionized water, no detergents. Safe for the panel surface and seals.
Scheduling
Available one-time or on a recurring schedule: monthly, quarterly, twice a year, or annual. Same standard every visit.

Two tools. One standard.
Poles up top. Every exterior pane gets the water-fed pole. A carbon-fiber pole feeds purified, deionized water through a soft brush, the brush scrubs the glass, and the rinse dries spot-free. It’s safer than working a ladder up high and it reaches corners ladders can’t. The same pole cleans solar panels.
Hands down low. Every sill, frame, and screen gets squeegee and microfiber, by hand. That’s where touch matters: catching a smear before it sets, getting a streak-free line right at the edge.
Right tool, right job. One crew trained on both.
